Cable Structure Introduction
The Catagory 7 components supports transmission frequency of 10 GBit per second (10GBase-T) is achieved over a cabling distance of 90 meters in permanent link and 94m in channel link. In the DACH region, the use of shielded cable of category 7 (class F) in LAN building cabling is the future-oriented standard application. We recommend to use it together with the Cat 6A keystone jacks and patch cords in order to reach the 10GBit transmission and support PoE 100 watt as well.
The whole Category 7 copper cabling solution, which includes the LAN cable, keystone jack from Linkwylan® transmit
up to 10 Gigabit per second (90m) in the Permanent Link over the backbone cabling of the IT network room. Additionally, the copper
cabling components transmit 10 Gigabit per second (94m) in the Channel Link (includes 2pcs of 2m Cat 6A patchcords) in accordance
with TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC 11801 Class Ea standards, this means the main backbone usage for LAN cabling in buildings.
