Product Description

Benzyl alcohol is one of the simplest aromatic alcohols and can be regarded as phenyl substituted methanol. It is a very effective fixative which is necessary for mixing jasmine, tuberose, ylang-ylang, etc. It can be used to make perfume, soap and daily cosmetics. Benzyl alcohol is also widely applied in industry and mainly used as solvent for paints, coatings, cellulose and protein as well as resin and pharmaceutical synthetise; It is also useful in ball pen oil, photographic developer, PVC stabilizer, and preservative for ointment or liquid medicine. It is performed as desiccant and dye for synthetic silk, fiber and film as well. Furthermore, it is the intermediate for benzyl ester or ether chemicals. Hosome can provide both cosmetic and industrial grade benzyl alcohol according to customer’s application.
