Polarized & Non Polarized Light
Polarized dermatoscopes, like non-polarized dermatoscopes, contain light-emitting diodes to provide illumination and are equipped with a magnification lens. However, polarized dermatoscope use two polarized filters to achieve cross-polarization. Hence, it does not require direct contact with the skin, and do not require the use of immersion liquids.
The DE-300 dermatoscope can be switched to both polarized and non polarized light model, available in different lesion diagnose situation.
Phone & Tablet Compatibility
The universal lens clip attachment gives the ability to attach dermatoscope on smartphone or tablet and take pictures, so the lesions can be captured and scrutinized.
