Product Description


FEP(F46, Hexafluoropropene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer)
Fluorinated ethylene propylene
Freflon® FEP resins are the family of melt-processible fluoroplastic, they are copolymer of tetrafluorothylene(TFE) and hexafluoropropylene(HFP), without additives, have a lower melt viscosity than PTFE and can be processed like other thermoplastic resins by the melt flow processes of extrusion, transfer, injection and compression molding. Because the bonding energy between its carbon and fluorine atoms is high, and the molecule is completely filled with fluorine atoms, Freflon® FEP fluorocarbon polymer has excellent thermal, electrical and
chemical stability.

Product Technical Property of FreChem FEP


F4601 is a low melt flow rate resin with lentil or cylindrical shape pellets, it is designed for liner of valve, pump &tube with molding process method.

F4602 is low-middle melt flow rate with lentil or cylindrical shape pellets, it is designed for insulation and jacketing of high-temperature wire and cable with extrusion process method. It can also be used for large specification date, insulation and jacketing of communication wire, pipe and film with good resistant to high temperature and corrosion.

F4603 is middle melt flow rate with lentil or cylindrical shape pellets, it is designed for
insulation and jacketing of high-temperature wire and cable with extrusion and injection process method. It can also be used for large specification date, insulation and jacketing of communication wire, pipe and film with good resistant to high temperature and corrosion.

F4604 is middle-high melt flow rate with lentil or cylindrical shape pellets, it is design for insulation and jacketing of small specification high temperature cable and small specification date telecommunication wire with injection and extrusion process method.

F4605 is high melt flow rate with lentil or cylindrical shape pellets, it is designed for insulation and jacketing of small specification high temperature cable and small specification date telecommunication wire with injection and extrusion process method.

F4606: FEP dispersion emulsion, it can be used for coating, impregnation and processed many products, including surface coating for heat-resistant PTFE impregnated fibers, printed wiring boards, or electrical insulating material, injection molded films, or chemically isolated materials, as well as PTFE and FEP interconnected melt adhesive. It can also be used to prepare a primer for metal substrate, or to form an anti-stick coating with a glass cloth, and a high insulation film with polyimide.

Storage and Handling:

The properties of Freflon® FEP are not affected by storage time. Ambient storage conditions should be designed to avoid airborne contamination and formation of water on the resin when it is removed from containers.
It should stock in clean, cool and dry warehouse, prevent from agglomeration and contamination.
This product is non-toxic, non-explosive, non-corrosive, according to non-dangerous goods transport.

Package:
Freflon® FEP is packaged in polyethylene plastic bags and then packaged in cardboard boxes with a net weight of 25 kg per box. For convenient shipment, orders of 500kg pallet are recommended.

When FEP is subjected to high temperature during processing, certain gases will be released. Therefore, in the process of moulding, extrusion and injection, it is necessary to ensure good ventilation facilities.
