Circumferential and Longitudinal Seam Gouge and Grinding Machine
The machine consists of CNC cross manipulator, multifunctional powerful grinding abrasive wheel and belt head, dust removal system,electronic system and pneumatic control system.
Application
* Carbon steel , Stainless steel circumferential seam gouge, grinding and polishing.
* Vessel internal stainless steel cladding welding layer grinding and polishing
* Vessels internal and external circumferential, longitudinal seam, weld reinforcement part grinding and polishing. Use before vessel fitting-up.
* V bevel type vessel.

* It consists of base hold, level adjustment unit, column, rotating device, power driving system, Mechanical locking mechanism,cross slider/carriage, beam and related moving system. Rotating device between Base hold and column is driving by electricity.
* Cross slider utilize reducer and Ball screw drive to control up and down. Beam front and back moving is driven by reducer motor and gear rack.
* Column and beam guide rails are the oversea imported heavy load straight guide. Beam both ends can be equipped with multifunctional and powerful abrasive wheel and belt,dust removal system while it is also considered to leave other grinding &gouge head interfaces.
* There is lift lugs beside column end which is a fixed type. Overhead head crane can lift without steel wire.
* Cross sliders are installed with dust protection unit.
* Staircases are provided on column for maintenance.
* The deflection can be removed by grinding & gouge head constant pressure relocation mechanism.

Multifunctional and powerful grinding wheel and belt head
* It consists of left/right moving device, grinding & gouge head vertical rotating connection flange, grinding & gouge head horizontal rotation unit, grinding & gouge head side swing preventing unit, grinding & gouge head, grinding motor, welding seam abrasive wheel and grinding device, root pass powerful abrasive belt grinding device (abrasive belt contact wheel,tight and side swing preventing device ,), Pneumatic constant pressure relocation mechanism, automatic blade lifting unit and dust removal cover.
* Grinding & gouge head right/left horizontal moving unit consist of motor, special reducer, lateral small slide guide rail. The function of the right/left horizontal moving unit is to keep the grinding centerline coincides with the device center line after 90 degree rotating.
* Grinding & gouge head vertical rotating connection flange consist of motor reduction unit. The function is to facilitate the abrasive belt to parallel with welding seam surface while grinding the cladding welding seam.
* Grinding rotation unit consists of rotation ring and supporter. ±90 degree can be adjusted as vessel internal, external longitudinal/ circumferential seam conditions.
* Grinding & gouge head side swing lock preventing unit consist of lateral sliding device and related tight lock device. The abrasive wheel can automatically adjust the direction through sensor detection by following welding seam. The purpose is to avoid abrasive wheel blocked and dangerous occurs while the grinding direction deflection happens because the anti-floating roller without using. Tight lock device is to keep the abrasive grinding track no deflection.
* The whole grinding & gouge head and grinding belt are using same beam and motor system, consistent pressure relocation and automatic blade lifting system. The only difference is that the abrasive belt has separate wheel tight and side swing preventing device and covers.
* The abrasive belt can satisfy vessel internal and external grinding.
* Grinding & gouge head right/left horizontal moving unit consist of motor, special reducer, lateral small slide guide rail. The function of the right/left horizontal moving unit is to keep the grinding centerline coincides with the device center line after 90 degree rotating.
