We offer a complete line of sample storage tubes that it in the 96-well, 48-well, 24-well or 6-well ANSI/SLAS standard (formerly recognized as the ANSI/SBS standard) rack format. The comprehensive range includes tubes with volumes ranging from 0.50ML to 20.00ML which are suitable for the most common laboratory storage applications. The tubes are available non-coded, alphanumeric coded or with a unique 2D Data-Matrix code on the tube bottom or side. Through our line of compatible storage racks, decoding and cap-decap equipement, we are able to offer you a complete solution.

• Extractables: The materials used for tubes are the result of extensive research. One selection criterion is that no measurable amount of extractables should leach into samples.

• RNase and DNase: Our manufactured labware complies with the highest injection molding standards and is free of any detectable RNase or DNase contamination.

• Endotoxin (pyrogen): By maintaining the highest possible hygiene level during its production processes, The endotoxin level of produced and packaged labware are limited to an accep-
table minimum (< 0.01 EU/ml).

• CE label: The products comply with the Class 1 CE label. Material Safety Data Sheets are available for all products (the EU directive 98/79/EC is the leading standard).

• Sterile products: Upon request, products manufactured can be supplied sterilized. Sterilization is carried out using gamma radiation or ethylene oxide treatment.

•Multiple freeze-thaw cycles: Extensive freeze-thaw tests are conducted with Micronic sample storage tubes during the freeze-thaw process.

•Grinding of samples by high speed bead beating for DNA/RNA extraction: When homogenizing samples, beads are often used to break open cell walls and membranes to release the desired DNA and RNA.
